Creativity.
I’m fortunate enough to meet a lot of people. Many of whom live average lives, purely doing whatever it is that is expected of them. Whether that be taking care of responsibilities, working for others, putting themselves in a routine that is comfortable. This is admirable and often leads to finding balance in the instability of existence.
While it is admirable, it’s also the lowest threshold of what we can become. If we all acted on our greatest capabilities we could create lives that we’d only dreamt of living. These capabilities are what I call creativity and we each possess unique traits that make us special. We tend to lose sight of this when we register rules as we age. Often falling into the trap of expectations before acting upon our deepest desires of self expression.
Creativity is the bridge between what is and what could be. It’s the test that challenges individuals to seek expansion of oneself, and find balance in moments of uncertainty and clarity. For those that try, they may find failure, but the cost of not trying at all is far worse. We each have ideas that filter through our head daily. Where they originate, I have theories, but may never know. The best ideas are brought to life and revolutionize the world. I feel we fear ideas. If we didn’t, we would act on them accordingly.
If fear holds us back then how are we supposed to explore the limits of our capabilities? It seems the happiest people in life are those that are ignorant, or those that tried their best to fulfill the burning desires that kept their ambitions alive. Everyone else in between is doing the best they can, but at what cost?
I’d love to see people take action upon their deepest ambitions. If you thought it, spoke it, or believed you could do it once, what’s holding you back from trying again?
In lieu of trying something new, just some thoughts I have for those that get held back like I do from the voice in the back of your mind that tells you not to. I’ve been working on YouTube, here’s the link if you want to check it out. I’m fearful of what could have been, so I’m trying my best to not find out.https://youtube.com/@kai.visiojournal?si=r-hLJjwx4GHjk6hQ

Weekly Poem:
A boy stares blankly into space
Dreaming of a world that doesn’t quite exist
Watching from a perspective of what could have been
The problem is thinking doesn’t result in action
It's just another way to procrastinate growth
